bit of a leap of faith but on old form of a few years back this fella could run a big race at a massive price ,o.k he hasnt run since lester  piggot was an apprentice and he could need the race ,but he may be worth a dabble . a  multi grade 1 winner and chelt champion hurdle winner he has form on heavy ground and is ridden by bjg and its encouraging that they are having a shot at this race ! they must feel that he has retained a fair bit of ability ,seemed to lose his form and something must have been amiss but they must be happy with him now or why run in this ?  wouldnt be suprised to see this fella run a big race at massive odds and he could be worth a  small dabble each way ,there are question marks around a fair few of these and i will be having a pop win and place . a leap of faith but stranger things have happened and with this stable anythings possible .selection 2.35 . punjabi each way 33/1 at lads .good luck .

they have plenty at home to test darlan ,the same owners binocular  ect, they will know roughly where they stand ,punjabi may well flop and the betting suggests he has a mountain to climb  as we dont know how good or bad last seasons novices are , but on his very best form he is too big a price at 33s imo.
