I chose a horse, Grand Vision, from the ten to follow list administered by Betfred back in November. I found out afterwards it was a 'non-runner' when I selected it, having been sidelined for the season by his trainer in September due to a tendon injury. I'm stuck with a nil pointer as the rules say selections can't be changed. I'm interested to know if anyone else wasted their money by taking Betfred's list at face value.

Not me, but several of mine have actually run like non runners during the comp.

Caveat emptor I'm afraid

Yes, I agree caveat emptor where Betfred's concerned. It doesn't have to be that way though does it? For example, betfair put out a public announcement warning punters following Nicholls' notification that Al Ferof and Big Buck's are sidelined with tendon injuries. There was nothing to stop Betfred highlighting horses with reported injuries on their list. I'll put it in their suggestion box but will probably get told to **** off,

It's rough.
But I always look every horse up online in 3 places before I select it as a final selection.
