I've been wondering this myself over the last few days. I'd be surprised if one of the Gigginstown chasers wasn't sent over.

Pre-cheltenham Mullins hardly ever seems to send anything accross. Florida Pearl wasn't totally comfortable on the undulations
of Cheltenham and seemed better on a flat easier 3m which was probably why he sent him over to run at Aintree and Kempton.
Cann't see the same applying to Sir Des Champ and would be surprised if he turned up.

Id say John Durkan and Lexus.

indeed I was just asking myself very similar questions

How reliable is the Jewson form? I mean SDS had For Non Stop a very long way behind which at face value would put SDS well ahead of Cue Card and Al Ferof who both also beat FNS but by much lesser distances. This will be fascinating to find out.

I imagine he will not come over for the KG which is ok by me but I really want to find out how strong the form is and I doubt the Irish races will tell us a definitive story

just wondering if cheltenham is for non stops course think he may be better elsewhere so the form could be a bit misleading imo ,one thing we do know is the top  english novices from last season  are a very decent bunch ! only backed sdc because his price was too big and if he did come over for the k.george he would be vying for favouritism .to be honest  although unbeaten i think he is too short for the gold cup on what he has acheived  so far !

that's my feeling because champion court also beat for non stop but I would put Cue Card well ahead of him...

intriguing puzzle because there clearly some potentially very very smart chasers around

and yes I don't see SDS winning the GC on the form so far

hoping he stays in ireland for the lexus

could be an absolute classic, sir des champs, hidden cylone, weapons amnesty, flemenstar, shaping up to be one of the races of the season

Dodgy though Judo with these novices all improving at different rates, and some liking cheltenham possibly better than others.
Personally would not use the Jewson form too literally when assessing this seasons races.

yeah that's what I thought but this fella comes with a big rep

surely a lot of that is down to the Jewson?

He had a massive rep before the Jewson and I didn't rate his form highly at all. I had egg on my face when he pished up.

Won as he liked for me and as if 3m wouldn't be a problem. The extra 2f of the Gold Cup is something else of course but he's my idea of the winner.

I cant see Sir`s coming over for the KG, even if the £££ vibes say he is.
As long as the ground is not heavy, i expect him to line up for the Lexus.

Yeah Miller, and what you say has nothing to do with the announcement that he isn't going anyway. It's just a coincedence that your first post on the issue came 9 mins after the RP revealed he's Lexus bound.
