he was an assistant wasn't he?? not the trainer unless i'm mistaken

Fry trained him last year. Horse is co-owned by Richard Barber who is Fry's big patron if I'm not mistaken. Did Nicholls have much to do with the horse in any case? I.e. moving it to Ditcheat would be the change in yard, not what has happened here.

Fry has taken out his own licence to train and is training horses he did last season, which includes ROR.
Last season he run under Nicholls name, but now he has his licence. Still in the same yard as been said above. He knows the horse and the horse wont be affected at all imo. |

In the post race Champion Hurdle interview Nicholls looked a little out of place taking any plaudits for Rock On Ruby`s success. Nicholls was having a bad meeting and all the talk was about the wellbeing of the Nicholls horses. Then ROR surprises everyone but then it is revealed the horse was trained in the satellite yard and Nicholls had very little to with the horse.
Harry Fry is your man. |

Does Nicholls have anymore 'satellite' yards or is he actually doing the job himself this time? Makes a joke of the trainers championship
