I know it's not a horse race, but there's going to be a result this week.

See this article.....

I've had a couple of pounds on the mentioned "dark horse" (maybe it is a horse race after all) John Inge.

I can't be accused of ramping because I don't have a lay price up - it's not a very big market on here!

They don't rush things in the church...

It could be a real cliffhanger and they've already had months to pick someone!

Our man Inge isn't mentioned in this article. I suppose that could be good.

Nobody bashing the bishop then?

All very respectful around here Bazz. My bet looks like it's taken a walk too.

Why can't the dithery feckers choose a new bish, for God's sake? They've had months
already and they're supposed to have the big man upstairs guiding them. Typical
shilly-shallying from the C of E, if you ask me (which you probably don't).

One of the biggest shams on Earth, religion, why do you think there have been so many?
Not a single priest, vicar or whatever have done a days proper work ever since they decided to fraud the wider public.

i think a lot of them believe it themselves.
Makes me laugh when there's a tragedy and 30 people are killed and one person is pulled from the wreckage alive,it's a miracle.

so god ,presumably, performs this 'miracle'for one ,but leaves the other 30 to their fate.

Unbelievable! Laddies has had to close betting on the ABC because significant bets were taken from newly
opened accounts. These people are supposed to be in touch with God and they're rushing out of synod
meetings (or whatever) to rip off a major bookie _after_ they know the outcome of the race. Even snooker
was never this bent.

PS If Laddies are telling the truth about God's punters, then there's some free money to be had on the right
hand side in the BF market. I still reckon Inge has a shout, but lay the 38.0 if you dare!

Well there it is...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/9662546/Bishop-of-Durham-Justin-Welby-to-be-Archbishop-of-Canterbury.html

the insiders took Laddies' dough and nothing is sacred any longer.

I don't care much about God, the church or the Archbish but I find it a bit shocking that they rush out of
General Synod meetings and steal money from bookies (because, let's face it, once you know the result it's
not exactly a sporting wager).

I don't have a problem with the church taking lad's money Pete. If their past posting then technically their not gambling so maybe
the good lord has given them the thumbs up. Lad's aren't a sporting company ,if you win consistantly from them they will restrict
you or close you down, as such their fair game to be explioted as long as it's legal imo.

lol, how naive

my gran is a volunteer in a church, handles the money and stuff

the stuff she says puts me off religion for life, i've got no idea how she still has faith after dealing with the greedy people she works with

it's all about money, bishops are worse than bankers, NAP

Money, status and power Tucho. But let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

And if it was a horse race the jockeys would be getting an early wake-up from the fraud squad.
You can call Laddies what ever you like tinkler - I'd normally agree - but I don't reckon they
would take bets on an event when they already knew the result. In fact, we've all seen them
take ante-post prices off their board without knowing why (while the BF layers are hoovering up
1000.0)
