think it's quite clear what's going on...truth is, for all they cant be up front about it, the vast majority of the racing public would agree with the thinking imo ie sacrificing run-of-the-mill card Thurs to save their biggest day of season Sat.

yep but what about the going its fairly sandy at ayr, and the stick readings dont look like heavy tome, i am no expert though DI, the readings they are quoting are7.9 -8.2 right across the track although i wouldnt trust the coc to handle my whanger let alone a going stick imo

There is a school of thought that says a stick reading may depend on who is taking it, and after the departure of "Lifeboat Lil" from the course it seems a new broom has bought changes, think we'll have to watch racing to see what occurs today.

The courses history will tell you it can dry fast though althouhg with the amount of rain it took it would be a miracle if it wasnt very soft, it will also be churned up by the time of the big race tomorrow

cheers dudes every man and his dog seem to be landing on either pivotal or acclamation as the sires for the  day, i think there may be a bit of value in mutliplex as i am sure this is a soft ground sire, decent chance in the 2.20 on paper,jo hughes though so buyer beware, chu8rch music laters might be ok at a price wiht decent draw, but as u say i zil very much a powder dry day
