Kauto does seem decent value if he shows up - he'd probably be about 4/1 on the day and the C&D suit him more than any other. You would have to trust that he's over his injury and though he's hard as nails that's a lot to ask at his age.
I can't see Sizing Europe even running in the QMCC. I expect him to run in the Tingle Creek and get battered by Sprinter Sacre and Sanctuaire, then step up to the Ryanair. Albertas is a horse I adore and he put up another fine performace at the Ryanair this year, but maybe he's lost a bit of sparkle (see Aintree). Horses over 10 have a stinking record at the Festival so I couldn't back him as a 12 yo (that's also a factor against Sizing Europe). |
