Horse Antepost

After hours of study and conntemplation I have come up with a silly antepost treble:
Danedream (King George & Q E stakes) 10-1
Rule Book (Ebor Handicap) 25-1
Most Improved (Champion Stakes) 25-1
I am not given to tipping horses but just thought that I would share the fruits of my labours with anyone who may be interested!

i do a few of these types of bets in singles e.way doubles trebles and accas and at these kind of prices, and have had a few near misses in the past for massive wins ,always seems 1 lets ya down but if it does cop its a lifechanger ,i always at the very least double my stakes on the treble or acca part of the bet as you wont get one of these bets up often but if you do you need to make it count .good luck with it .

Thank you Foyleswar for your good wishes. I have also had singles and doubles, but nothing each way as I consider such antepost place bets to be very poor value unless nrnb.

good luck with it aft , but the place treble for a £10 comes to over £1500 ,havent got time to work out exact figuer but well worth a go .

I am afraid that place odds do not appeal where there is real risk of the horse being taken out before final declarations. It will be a minor miracle if Rule Book is to 'get in' off a mark of 90!

That to my mind that will depend on how books interpret multiples when a horse is ballotted out. Obviously with a single you get your money back if the horse is declared but does not make the cut, but if the horse is a final part of a multiple ie a double with Danedream, do you get paid out as you would day of race betting, ie get the winnings that were going forward?

It would be treated as a void, whether a single bet or part of multiple. They could not treat it as a loser (even in multiple) if it was denied the opportunity to take part by ballot.
