You seem to have the results for long ago winners of great races,
can you remind me of the Ascot gold cup winner which went on to win ARC please?
Another Irish trained winner at Royal Ascot who won two races then won two races the following year
and how many races did TRELAWNEY win at Royal Ascot, thanks in advance?

Irish Filly that won two races at Royal Ascot was called Stanerra, around 1982/3

I seem to remember STANERRA won two one year and two the following year, am I right foetus?
Trelwaney won a few when trained by George Todd, he had previously been trained by one of the Colling brothers, became a decent stayer with G.Todd.

I can't remember two years running to be honest...Prince of Wales & Hardwicke double if I remember right, but not certain if it was 82 or 83.

She might have won handicaps the first time, as a 4yo I think then the two that you mention
as a 5yo plus as you say the Japan cup at seasons end.
Was she trained by Michael Grassick?

Frank Dunne trained her, and was possibly the owner as well (I'm not sure of that) yellow & black stripes if memory serves - those were the days Wink
