I wouldn't say he is certain to be in the 3 at all.

He wont beat SYT. I'd fancy Farhh to beat him, if supplemented, given a clear passage. Then you have others horses like Bonfire, Nathaniel etc.

He is actually 18/1 on here for small money.

Dont think he is runninConfused

He was treading water at the end of the POW.... Either he is still not 100% (a plausible explanation after the long layoff) or he is a query at the trip.

If I had him he would be off to a G2 mile somewhere.

Carlton House is a smart horse & prob still improving at 4, not had much racing.
So far, he is not quite up to winning a top G1.
With Frankel & Camelot not turning up, it looks to be SYT again.

Ryan Moore was pretty easy on Carlton House once the race was lost , difficult to believe he'll turn the tables if they both line
up in the Eclipse but you never know.

yeah ,have watched the race several times now and i agree moore eased down on him and stopped pushing when winning chance had gone

Farrh is a lovely horse but deary me their is some hype around him. I thought he was picking up the pieces after SYT & CH had run their races personally.

Possibly MM. I've backed him. He reared in the gates as they broke and was stuck on the rail when the other two were quickening. He ended up being beat 3 lengths so it wouldn't be the biggest shock to see the form turned around. He's only had 4 runs and was backed from 10/1 into 6/1 on the day.

There is a nice listed mile race at Salisbury that Poet's voice ran second in before he won the celebration mile and QE11, that is the route I'd go.

TIf I'm honest I think SYT is a near good thing, but at the prices I'm happy to give Bonfire another chance @14/1. Have made plenty backing beaten Derby runners in this down the years and for me he patently hated the track / atmosphere.

Carlton taken out, no surprise. Farhh supplemented.
