10/1 top price now, which looks about right. Very smart filly, completely outclassed her rivals today. Her breeding suggests that she should get a mile, she acts on soft and dead ground but is a fluent mover and will be suited by faster ground. A tall athletic type, she should continue to progress.

Impressive today but not sure she beat a lot, time ordinary. At best she's 3rd on my Guineas list at the moment.

The bare form leaves a bit to be desired but the manner of victory was very striking. It was a remarkable effort to make all the running into a strong headwind and leave her rivals for dead in a matter of strides.

I reckon it was a good time as in my view the ground was rapidly drying after the first 2 races.

The only two Irish-trained fillies that have impressed me so far are HARASIYA (J.Oxx) and TRUE VERDICT (D.Wachman). Despite the latter's narrow defeat at Naas I think she could still prove a decent prospect, though I'm not sure that she'll get a mile. Have any others caught your eye?

Infanta Branca is progressing nicely and should improve when stepped up to 6f+ but has yet to show any brilliance, so she doesn't feature on my Guineas shortlist. Harasiya looks a smart prospect but isn't on my shortlist either, but for a very different reason: her trainer rarely targets the 1000 Guineas - during the period 1989-2012 inclusive (24 years) he's had just one runner in the Guineas (Arch Swing, who was runner-up to Finsceal Beo in 2007); in the same period he's had 21 runners in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Even if Harasiya turns out to be a top-notcher, the chances are that she will probably bypass the English Guineas.

Agreed James, I wouldn't be backing Harasiya to turn up at HQ. Not sure the Aga prioritises English classics after the Oaks disqualification a few years ago.
