Horse came 4th in the King Stand, last horse that ran in the King Stand and won the Wokingham was Baltic King in 2006. I also thought the time was very good at 5 furlong... his 6furlong record is a bit of a worry ... He also came 3rd to Mirza, who subsequently won a listed event so seems to have some decent form to his name
He wont mind soft going, and is drawn 19 and loves Ascot
I think this horse has a real decent chance
I have taken 14ew but let us know your thoughts...
It's the extra furlong that worries me tbh. Trainer said before Ascot that over 5f at the track he seems to ''grow and extra leg'' , so he basically had his ideal conditions on Tuesday, hence the big run. On Saturday the going will be worse and he has further to run. He does have class so that should help back in a handicap and the price is big enough to compensate, gl.

I also liked the horse for this race and am on at bigger prices, primarily after Newmarket when it showed it was coming back to form on ground that wasn't ideal.
And that unfortunately is the problem for me now, not the distance. If it had stayed fairly dry this week I would have it nailed on to reach the frame but fear it will now be simply too soft. FWIW I have also played Maarek now it looks like being soft
Hope I'm wrong about the ground and so obviously wish you luck
