O'Brien would have to be an old sentimentalist to so send him there. Can't see it myself.

PADDY POWER: Camelot is 2 from 4-1 for Arc and St Leger 1-4 (with a run)

Oops. Don't know how that "so" crept in there.

Will look an amazing price when he is declared on target for the Arc. Some of the owners are shareholders in Ladgrokes apparently, dont suppose filling their satchels for the Leger on the way to the Arc will do the share price any harm.

Nijinsky, won the Dewhurst at 2 , and as a 3yo old won the 2000 Guineas , Derby , Irish Derby ,King George, St Leger and was beaten in a photo finish in the Arc'
If Camelot does not go for the St Leger , Imperial Monarch looks to have the rigth pedigree for the race. |

Bit far off for me to be taking 1/2 but agree that if he turned up on the day he would be significantly shorter than 1/2. Possible that it could be another small field. Would be surprised if he doesn't have another run between now and then though.

1/2 with most books but 1/3 with laddies.
probably best bet is PPs 1/4 with a run because if he goes for the leger he will probably only be taking on another one or two at the most from outside his stable and could start very short. |
