It's hard to follow people who dont bet themselves but lots of people do follow Nick from what I read on here.
His system narrowed it down to four, including Camelot, who was discarded for the price, and Main Sequence, discarded for not being good enough.

I dont understand some people,Mordin does research,reports his findings,and suggests a conclusion.Its not his fault if stats change.I have found a stat that has given a 90% success rate in a certain race in the last 5 years.If it fails to work in this race this year,no problem,you find the stat and make your own judgement with it combined.
