Yes was looking at this horse aswell but have decided to bottle it.
I rarely get the Mark Johnston runners right. |

I've backed EUXTON HALL for the Coventry Stakes at 25's, but he obviously has to win today to have a chance at Ascot against much better opposition. I'll be disappointed if he gets beaten. Main worry is that Fahey's yard isn't firing in the winners just yet (7 winners from 76 runners in last fortnight).

It'll be interesting to see whether De Sousa employs the usual Johnston 'scalded cat' tactics from his outside draw, or tries to drop him in. I guess it depends on whether they come stands side or not. We'll soon find out.

Bad luck mystic, just touched off, I thought Heavy Metal was just going to nick it. My nag didn't appear to handle the track, he's better than that (but won't be winning the Coventry on that showing).

Thanks James, I thought he was going to get there too, I guess the dropped whip didn't help.

I dont think he handled the rack either Mystic. He was being harried by the jockey at the 3f pole just like the fav was. He was battling for almost the entire duration of the race. On a more conventional track i'd be keen to stick with him next time tbh.

Yep, he's a nice horse Sint'. No world-beater, but solid Listed / Group 3 material imo. Money lent!

For me Heavy Metal is a really nice looking horse ,with a lovely long stride . I doubt he's a sprinter
and 7f maybe better for him as he lacks a bit of pace. |
