Very simple this.
10/10 priced 6/1 maximum.
7/10 not the favourite
2012 - one qualifier only - Bonfire.
Also top rated by Nick Mordin and trainer didn't have horse fully wound up for Dante.
Finally, the odds on favourite is trained by a trainer, who I believe I'm right in saying, has had 35 Derby runners since last winning the race.

Nick Mordin, had Black Bear Island , as the one to beat in Sea The Stars Derby ( maybe not such an expert ? )

just had to pop in when i saw this b011ox.
0/35 runners doesn't really tell the story though and is quite misleading imo as he has had many horses finish 2nd and 3rd.
At the moment none of the jockeys that have won the Derby in the last 10 years (Barzalona, Moore, Kinane (retired), Manning, Dettori, Dwyer, Murtagh and Fallon) have a mount. Furthermore only Aidan O'Brien and Marcus Tregoning, of the trainers still with runners in the race, have trained the winner in the same period.
Sintonian - 0/35 = 0/35. If you'd backed them all to win you'd be 35 x stakes down.
Might be 1/40 by Saturday tea time tho......

Regarding the prices Kev a few of the 10 traded bigger than 6/1 prior to the day and even on the day so there may be further qualifiers by the time the SPs are in.
Nick Mordin, fails to find the Derby winner yet again. Hope you backed the winner Kev ?
