Heading over to RA (from Dublin). Flying in on the Tuesday morning and home on the Wednesday evening. I was wondering where the best place to stay is?

I was looking for somewhere either

A) in close proximity to the track, or

B) mid way between Heathrow and the Track which would be convenient and on the trainline.

Any insight is welcome.

Feltham

It's on Heathrow's doorstep, has a direct trainline to Ascot (30 minutes), has nightlife a couple stops in the other direction (Richmond) and will be reasonably priced in an otherwise ridiculously expensive area.
