ie Goes for something like the International at York and destroys them by 5. Which is entirely possible. Then something like the Arc would come into calculations.
I am almost certain that Frankel will not go to the breeders Cup; and I really hope he doesn't too.
I hate with a passion the Breeders Cup when it is held in a US state that allows copious use of performance enhancing drugs - bute and Lasix to be used. I would be in favour of a really strong European boycott of all US horses, and any European horses that have run on dope.
There is no need for horses to be doped. The new synthetic surfaces like Tapeta, are more welfare friendly than the dirt; its dirt racing that is so bad for horses that they "need" pain blockers and anti bleeding chemicals. The only reason that the USA has not abandoned dirt and dope is the fact that their breeding industry is geared towards dirt runners and it would devalue their stallions. This selfish attitude puts the short term financial gain of key breeders before the welfare of horses and the long terms welfare of flat racing.
Its time US racing was clean; and its way beyond time that the european horse racing authorities quietly went along with our trainers and owners running our entires in the breeders cup on dope - it should be outlawed as soon as possible.
