Let's see if APOB's effort level in getting his horses ready early for the Classics ramps up now he will want to get his son some history making Classic wins. This could be a money making opportunity.
Millions of pounds at stake, the biggest pressure job in racing....and you think he couldn't be @rsed before but will try a little harder now the boy's up?
What's the weather like in cloud-cuckoo-land, ybm?

I really couldn't give a fook if AOB trains the next 15 Guineas winners, eric...the reason will NOT be because JOB's on and his old man is now 'trying'

On that basis eric he cant get em ready for the derby and Oaks either
Only 3 winners in total for the Oaks and two in the derby One less than the combined guineas winners

Big John and the boys will be absolutely furious when they realise AOB hasn't really be trying that hard for the last fifteen odd years, zil. Millions, absolute millions, have been poured down the drain while we wait for JOB to come of age......

Never underestimate nepotism I think there is a new incentive to improve the dismal record of the last 5 years compared to the decade before.

The figures above bear out the drop in emphasis on getting ready for the Guineas in particular or the fact APOB has got worse at his job. I think the former is the case and we will see his results in the early season Classics with the ridiculous amount of bloodstock he gets ramping up again now.

Surprising that YBM/Kirk/Eric has time to post here on a Classic weekend given all the last-minute "covers" and "book tweaking" he has to do. Credit where credit's due.

Already in one dayAPOB has equalled his wins record of the last 5 years in the 4 Classics.
Let's see if he can better his last 5 years record in the early Classics this one weekend with his son up.

There we go in one weekend equals the last 5 years Classic wins, definitely getting them ready earlier. Well done Ballydoyle keep it up, Derby and Oaks next with the trainers son up.

I thought JP O'Brien gave Homecoming Queen a marvellous ride from the front and sure am glad I moved all my stakes onto him at the very last minute.
Viva the O'Brien family!

As stated above the emphasis is back on getting them ready for the Guineas, even APOB can have trouble which one then to put which jockey on. We have seen this before in the Classics. Hope you all followed this thread, backing the stables horses in the 2 races would have shown a massive profit including this 25/1 shot. Well done all those who took the hint.

This thread only a couple of days old showing massive profit compared to the losing 1000 Guineas thread which lasted around a year and reaped big losses with lots of misinformed contributions from many experts including some of those on this thread. You can understand their embarassment at that, maybe better luck next year for them than this year and last (Blue Bunting a dramatic saver on race day apparently by one poster well done).

The U-U-U-Utah Saints quote is for APOB and team, just in case you thought it might be this thread it referred to, which you might easily have assumed. Now the Derby and Oaks which could be cakewalks now with Joey up.

sintonian is blocked by me so dont know what he is posting but no doubt he is up to mischief again. He was one of the main contributors on the losing year long 1000 Guineas thread would imagine he isnt happy about this thread pinpointing the events of this weekend.

I know this wont sink in with your Eric, because you really are something else, but believe me, people can see this delusion a mile off.
Good luck copying everyone and then attacking them when YOU lose. Classy way about things.

Someone suffering from 'delusions of grandeur' does not have insight into his loss of touch with reality. An individual is convinced he has special powers, talents, or abilities. Grandiose delusions are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, or otherwise very powerful. In colloquial usage, one who overestimates his own abilities, talents, stature or situation is sometimes said to have 'delusions of grandeur'. [from the Wikipedia article on Delusion]
Taking credit for having supposedly tipped a 25/1 winner, which he neither backed nor mentioned by name before the race, in order to prove himself uniquely infallible, is a delusional act. It is clear from his pre-race comments on this thread that he was referring to Maybe, not to Homecoming Queen, since his entire thesis seemed to centre on the trainer's desire to provide classic-winning rides for his son Joseph.
Arguing with Eric is completely pointless, as he is evidently incapable (due to his delusional disorder) of ever accepting in public that he gets things wrong.

Eric is surely a wind-up. His previous pick was Kirk St. Moritz - a Walter Mitty type fantasist from the 80s sitcom Dear John. It's odd though just how much work he puts into this act.

Getting it right on this thread is genuine as you saw this weekend and will over the coming 5 years. When people like yourself who got it badly wrong deride this of course there can be a little wind up as a result.

Eric won't admit it, because unlike the rest of us he's incapable of ever admitting that he got it wrong, but his contributions to this thread clearly show that he was trumpeting the chance of Joseph O'Brien's mount (MAYBE), not Ryan Moore's. He did not mention HOMECOMING QUEEN. Neither did he mention BLUE BUNTING in last year's race. We were both on MAYBE (and other runners, including the Godolphin pair), the main difference being that I backed the favourite MAYBE at 33/1 in May 2011 and Eric seems to have backed it months later (at 6/1, was it?).

Thanks for the plaudits lads. After the Derby and Oaks he could easily equal his 2nd best 5 year total of 4 wins in just this one year. Already this weekend doubled the wins of the most recent 5 years when he pnly had 1 early Classic win.

What happened to Soldier of Fortune (the poster)? He must be delighted at the weekend's results.
Conclusive proof that he is Aidan right there. Aidan stops posting to concentrate on the day job and soldieroffortune suddenly starts training classic winners again.
Surprised Eric hasn't picked up on this.

Thanks for all the plaudits for predicting the stable's outstanding early Classic record this year.
As I predicted going for a clean sweep of early Classics they have 'come to themselves' early this year compared to previously. After avoiding a mutiny by dishing out the well backed Oaks winner to a loyal stable jockey this is the big one he wants for his young one. Real credit to the game APOB lets hope he gets the win he must have dreamed of here all his life. His backers also a real credit to racing and its future this Derby win, which seems likely, will be well deserved an amazing 4 from 4 in the Classics.
Updated: This year which is start of next 5 years: 3 wins (can it be 4 from 4 today)

St Leger next ... best jockey since Piggott who won the Triple Crown on Nijinsky and still only a teenager which would make him the best ever jockey in English Classic history.

Some big heads put in their place on this thread. They are not around now after the success of the thread, knowing them they have probably disappeared up their own @rses never to be seen again until blustering on another 1000 Guineas massive losing thread.
