Most Improved continues to undergo tests to diagnose the lameness reported on Thursday morning. The preliminary report from the vets has advised that he will not be ready for the QIPCO 2000 Guineas on Saturday 5th May and he will be taken out of the race this morning. This is extremely disappointing for his Owner and all of the team at the yard.

Yes, this is definitely going to be a different Guineas to the ones we've seen for the last few years. I really rather hope Godolphin change their mind about Mandaen. No problem with the ground for him and it's sure to ride like a 9f race minimum.
The fact he worked on the same Sunday at Newmarket as LOL makes me think they were hoping he'd book his Guineas ticket so, although it was Dante afterwards, another week on his back if Rooni can get stuck into him might change things? I dunno, I realise I'm clutching a straws with this one ![]() Is there a chance we could get a right old boilover? |

Would be interesting if JB left in a horse like Light Heavy. Appeals as the type to run hard from the front for 8f. No doubt he'd love to win the Guineas with a Teofilo and with a few coming in here who haven't proved their fitness or ability could he gatecrash the party?

few runners, crap ground and camelot heavy odds on. can't wait.
although this is great britain, we could have basking sunshine in 7 days time. least there will hopefully be some decent ground for the irish guineas, or the st james's palace. |
