Didn't do too much wrong with Delegator, in fairness.

Ya won a group 3 with a group 1 horse....

Truly bizzare price.

Price is silly relative to it's form for sure.

But then again, who wants to back Caemlot at 2/1 or Top Offer at 7's ?

i think History shows that most Dewhursts that end up in a bunch finish dont throw a 2000 winner, in my memory i can only remember ROG

Delegator has never been a group 1 horse since then. Meehan got him to the guineas in peak condition and he travelled even better than STS. However, he was outbattled by an all time great. Meehan could not have done any better with the Guineas prep. And I backed Delegator at 33-1.

spot on howellsy. meehan did everything right prepping delegator for that guineas. ran a great race but as time has shown beaten by a great. the vibes before the guineas for delegator were huge and he ran a massive race.  ( and i am not meehans biggest fan)

But then again Delegator was the same price straight after Craven(despite bolting up) that Much Improved is know.
A colt that certainly needs to put in an impressive performance to match the name & hype.

yes an odd price for me too, its form isnt THAT good! looks a middle of the road colt at this stage anyway.
