In nearly forty years punting, I have NEVER EVER had the winner of the Lincoln. So I obviously need a helping hand. Whatever gets put up the most, that is what I will bet to see if I can get this monkey of my back.
Thanks in advance

Roger Varian has Dubawi Sound but he may not get in, he also has Eton Forever who won the consolation race last year. Smarty Socks likes the track and Light From Mars likes big fields, wins this time of year. These are my 4 that I like at this stage.

Some trend pointers are to look for a 4 or 5 year old that has won or been second in a Class 2 Handicap, has won over at least a mile, is rated lower than 100 and set to carry less than 9-0 (though with the reduced field size lately these last 2 might have to be looked at more closely and adjusted accordingly). Also should have won one of its last 2 starts last season (or run its best race of the season) and not have run over the jumps or the All-Weather since October. This should narrow down the field a bit and give you a shortlist to work through. Obviously last years winner blitzed these trends but the previous years they found the winner and some good priced placed horses.

I backed the Lincoln winner once. Scobie Breasley rode it.

At the risk of sounding boring, Willie, why not leave it alone?

It's a shocking race and clearly doesn't play to your strengths, so keep your cash!

I hear you Tom, but I will need to get the winner of it before I move to, well wherever you go to when you stop drawing in air. I have had the winner of every major race I can think of, but never the Lincoln. Come to think of it, did Lester ever ride the winner?

Sound advice from tomdeane willie, one of the worst punting races of the year imo.

I won the Lincoln and doubled up in the Hunt Cup.

willie the milk, the punters currently shovelling on Cocozza, your tip on the other thread, must be oblivious to your record in this (similar to my own)
