Burton Port seemed to run an excellent National trial in the Gold Cup. Nicky Henderson sounds keen but when the original weights were released he said Burton was too small for the weight.
I want to bet on it but have had my fingers burnt nemerous times by trainers saying one thing and then withdrawing their horse.
What do others think?

"I don't know about Burton Port, I'll have to talk to Trevor (Hemmings, owner) but you'd say there's no reason why he wouldn't go to the National as it's the only chance he'll get to run off 11st 7lb."

bet365 are nrnb anyway if you think 14/1 is a fair price

The Trevor Hemmongs interview in last weeks weekender indicated the owner was happy for the horse to run but would leave it up to the trainer.

Left to trainer most probably wont know till declaration stage if lucky? Given his slow updates normally after a horse has had setback a week or so later!!
