Mad max is a quality horse that it hasn't quite worked out for in open company. Dont think the undulating course of Cheltenham has helped him out in the past and now on a 7lb lower mark is extremely competitive. The ground and distance will suit and has 100% record here in the past (3/3). Think 14/1 is a crazy price and wishing id had a bit more on. But cant see him out of the frame.
Araldur, again 4lb lower than when a good second at Wetherby. Conditions will suit and should go close. 8/1 is respectable.
