A decent effort especially at the weights.

His jumping remains a major concern to me though. He jumped left at nearly every fence, and in my view will never be a great fencer. He is vulnerable at Cheltenham, especially when the pressure comes on near the end. I was not that surprised he is now a bit longer for the Gold Cup.

I don't think I've ever seen him jump so well. he fiddled at a couple but no major mistakes. Which must be a worry to connections as he did not win at all impressively.

Long Run looks like a horse whose wisened up to the racing game and I think he keeps a bit back
for himself now.

He ran down a couple to the left in the finishing straight Stront,highlighted on RUK,but imo not that bad,and you,re right in the main he jumped well,certainly better than his 2 previous runs this season.
He was giving a fair bit of weight away,but i saw nothing to be that worried as far as my bet on Kauto is concerned.
