â˘All races to close on Thursday, February 9th
â˘Declarations to be made by 10:00am on Friday, February 10th
Following recent abandonments and the current cold snap set to continue, the British Horseracing Authority has programmed an additional card of Jumpersâ Bumpers to take place at Southwell on Sunday, February 12th.
The seven race card will be made up of six events primarily aimed at Steeple Chasers and Hurdlers, plus a Standard Open National Hunt Flat race.
Ordinarily, under the Rules of Racing, horses which have run in Steeple Chases or Hurdle Races are not eligible to run in National Hunt Flat races, but given the recent disruption to the fixture list, the British Horseracing Authority has modified the Rules with regard to this fixture.
The Track will be prepared to broadly replicate turf conditions on the âslow side of goodâ.
The races close at noon on Thursday, February 9th, with declarations to run to be made by 10.00am on Friday, February 10th. Full race conditions are attached.
