The 2000 Guineas Market looks open to me, with AOB having a lot of high profile horses towards the top, but Camelot not being 100% guaranteed to target it, the others in the yard look vulnerable to bit of competition in the race.
My own thoughts at this stage centre on the Champion Trainer Richard Hannon, who always likes to target the race, and the fact that he preferred (pre-injury) BRONTERRE for the Dewhurst over Harbour Watch.
BRONTERRE's opening two wins were both progressive and impressive, and well-backed he ran very green, out wide, when beaten only 1&1/4L in the Dewhurst.
We can expect Mr Hannon to target a prep-run at Newbury or Newmarket, and if he were to run well, and win, the Craven or the Greenham, then a reduction from the present 25/1 to single-figures would be anticipated.
At 25/1 each way, with more to come from him, and in the hands of the master trainer, I think he is the value in the 2000 Guineas Market.
I like Power at 14s personally. I don't think Camelot will run, Dabirsim apparently goes for the Poulains, Nephrite and BTS I think will want it softer, and Harbour Watch might not even make it. I think he was unlucky both times he lost, and if he hadn't lost those we'd be looking at a 3 time G1 + Coventry winner.
