Bit dissapointed with cc yesterday. Seemed to get outpaced down the back which is strange considering he won an arkle. I still give him a chance in the GC. Anyone agree.

The 2m chasing division doesn't look that strong to me and I'd run him in the champion chase. I would give him
little chance in the Gold CUp ,but you never know. I'd make sure there going to run in the GC before backing him as connections have plenty of options available.

I know arkle winners have a good record in the CC but i certainly dont think he would have the pace to live with the likes of sizing and big zeb. What dissapoints me the most about yesterday is i'm still not sure wether he stays or not because of his mistakes and negative ride from dickie.

Ryanair is the obvious race for him - double figures currently which would be tremendous value if you knew thats where he was going.

He didn't appear to stay yesterday so it's hard to see him getting the Gold Cup trip. He was under the pump a mile from home yesterday, though I must say I was impressed by the way he stayed on very gamely.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in either the Ryanair or the Champion Chase (in which the previous arkle winners have a superb record)

A tad contradictory there stront Confused

The Champion Chase looks far from a classic imo, they would be advised to give it a shot. Hasn't travelled at all well this season tho, don't know if he won't settle or what perhaps he is a pure Cheltenham horse, wouldn't be the first.

What's contradictory? He didn't see out the full 3 miles, but he kept going well under serious pressure from about 2 miles to 2 miles 6-7 f.

amazing how little respect Sizing Europe gets so often. He has gagged up in an Arkle and a QMCC and could easily have won a CH had things gone right. Yet the QMCC is seen as an easy option for slow boats like this. If you watch last years QMCC you will see SE fairly sprinted up the hill from the last

if you are gonna take him on you better be pretty quick

Sizing Europe apart, I definitely respect him and think he will win but there is no real strength in depth. I can't mention his name without flashbacks tho, to the awful moment I came off him onto my nemesis MM.

Fair enough Strontium, reading 'didn't stay' and then 'stayed on' just boggled my tiny mind. I am a trier tho, and aim to improve.

Sorry Born, I wasn't clear and didn't mean to confuse.

Judo - I agree with you, Sizing Europe is a very serious animal indeed. I thought he was awesome in the Tingle Creek and I'm very unlikley to oppose him come March.

Captain Chris looked outclassed to me,and even Somerby was going better before not staying.
He would imo have no chance of beating SE and BZ,in particular SE who put up one of the best displays of 2m chasing i have ever seen at Cheltenham. And looks in good nick this season.
Think WThinking will run in the QM,and CC will be in Ryanair.

agree with Judorick also, SE one of the best jumpers of a fence I've ever seen - his exhibition in the Tingle Creek was a thing of beauty.
