Very tempted to have an antepost bet for the CH with this,am i daft?
confidence booster last time and Mullins comments afterwards were interesting

i think youre mad but if he was impressive lto against a decent horse, and had to make up ground with the 2nd having all the momentum and against anyone thats hard to do so i was impressed! i love the horse always have and if they do happen to get him back to his best he would beat most horses in training over 2 - 2 and a half imo!
his novice season was just sublime but it went horribly wrong somewhere along the line!! gl if u do, has more ability and raw talent that most but its whether they can get it out of him! gl |

He's a shorter price for the world hurdle than the champion hurdle, but i don't see why he'd go the world hurdle route. I doubt he wants 3miles and Big Bucks is virtually unbeatable.
One of my fav horses anyway so i'd love to see it! Good luck. |

Direct Route take no notice of the Arsenal reject, a somewhat more illustrious judge summed up as follows............Given the speed he showed here I now have major doubts about Mikael d'Haguenet staying three miles and becoming a threat to Big Buck's in the World Hurdle. Indeed he tired badly when tried over three miles at the Punchestown Festival. In addition his two winning siblings both failed to score beyond 2m 3f.
My feeling now is that although Mikael d'Haguenet stays two and a half miles he has the pace to win in Grade 1 company over two. This being so I'm very interested to see that he's in the Istabraq Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown on the 29th of this month. I'm also very tempted by the 33-1 the bookies are offering about his chances for the Champion Hurdle. That's an awfully big price for a multiple Grade 1 winner that's just won so impressively. |
