Understand that there is a bonus on ofer for any horse which wins the novice chase he won at Plumpton and a Festival race. Presume that is why Tony Martin's horse also pitched up.

cheers for that FF, ive been impressed with him anyway, great jumper! even jumped a faller on his chase debut
clever horse.wonder where he'll be aimed! |

Fell in love with him myself. What a brilliant jumper, looks top class and an improver. Just the look of him you can tell he's something special. Looks made for Cheltenham and big sort who could skip round Grand National fences, not that I think he'll end up there.

totally agree man, won his last 2 in effortless fashion!

hope he wins tomorrow!

I'm just after watching him in his last race, god he was impressive. I'l be going in big tomorrow and also for the jewson.

backed it tomorrow myself.

Back him for the jewson now. He will be 7/1 at best tomorrow evening.

Asking a lot today to give 4lb to Sonofvic and only gets 3lb off Solix. They were both better hurdlers. Can't see any value 11-4. Looking forward to see him jump round here though, will have a loyalty bet. Should be great race to watch.
By:
He was very fresh in the paddock - required 2 handlers - and never looked likely to win. Sonofvic jumped like he was blind. Value of this form is very suspect imo ie doesn't amount to much.
By:
Shame they didn't make use of his jumping and instead held him up. Still there was never any value at the price but will keep my eye on him. Always be interested when contesting tough fences and jumping really counts.

King reports Invictus lost a shoe during race, be out again within 4 weeks, needs big track experience.

1.50.ascot. tomorrow.
Shouldn't beat Nicholls horse on official ratings but 8-1 looks fair and look forward to him jumping round here. |

8s is too big for this beast, also the 50s for the RSA

Well done you mob! Hope you all have the fancy prices for the festival!

Surely he will go for the Jewson? Alice didn't ask the one f*&*)U! Q that needed to be asked! |

HES BACK!

Why is he still loner than Bobs Worth for RSA?
By:
no idea,shouldn't be imo
By:
Pretty impressive today, keeping to the 'pounce two out tactics'. I'd like to see him winding it up a lot earlier. Can't see them changing it now. Just feel he may get caught for speed against the big boys. Though might not be a problem at Cheltenham they should go fast enough from the start.
No ante-post for me,never works out for me, injury, wrong race e.t.c. Happy to win on the day. |

Bob's worth should be better going back left handed imo. Plus Chris Cook (from the guardian) reports on twitter that Bob only had his first gallop last Saturday following his breathing op. Should come on loads. |
By:
Re /\ ...
Suspect Cheltenham will play to Bob's stamina strengths, and it is less sharp so that would help him, and they wil run off levels so that will help him, and he apparently had had an interrupted and inadequate prep, so will probably strip sharper on a track he loves, so that will help... But all of that said, on everything i have seen thus far, Invictus' jumping is worth 7lbs against Bobs who IMO simply cannot jump fluently. |
By:
Never heard Ascot to be an easy 3 miles - might not have Cheltenham's ups and downs, but still is a stiff track
By:
As much as he is an admirable horse that always is trying, I actually think Bob's Worth's odds are frankly ridiculous - as low as 9/2?
Looking back what did he beat last year at Cheltenham and I think his attitude takes him a lot further than his ability alone would, and he is a better hurdler than chaser. I accept that the RSA can be a brutal race and attitude and resolution is important but best price 5/1 and 12s Invictus - that's an easy choice surely? |
By:
He's a player now....
By:
Invictus has a backside to rival Frankel ! Like R Carver says Bobs worth doesn't jump well enough, probably because of his lack of scope. He's a serious player @12s 4 me .
By:
the diff in odds between INV and BW is a joke! u know what to do...!
By:
Forget Mullins and Henderson and Nicholls...
ALAN KING will be THE MAN to follow at Cheltenham.....a stable of nice ungeralded horses many of them proven on the Course! |
By:
Took 12-1 with ldbks for Sun Alliance, forced to bet ante-post, doubt I'll be able to bet Chelt week and the value will be gone come NRNB.. Looks to have as good a chance as anything in the race so 12-1 more than fair.
