Early choice for me would be Fabalu. Wasted a few quid on him for this last year, before he disappeared off the face of the earth. Don't know if he's heading to Aintree first, but if he lines up at Chepstow, I'll take my chance. I'll also be having a few quid on Ballyfitz e/w, I'd be quite confident he could sneak a place.

Agree Synchronised is bound to go close but at this stage 6-1 is about as appealing as Anne Widecombe in crotchless knickers.
Unusually for this race theres quite a few you could give a decent shout to; Giles Cross has as good a chance as Synchronised but at twice the odds, Any Currency will surely pick up a long distance chase this season, Major Malarkey likewise and has already been nibbled at 40's, Summery Justice if memory serves was well backed for this last year before picking up an injury and of course old Ballyfitz is bound to be picking them up when most have them have cried enough and thats just for starters.
Gallant Nuit was entered up at Carlisle over the weekend but hasnt been declared, presumably because of the ground but at least it shows he hasnt had a recurrence of his leg problem.
