the second fav fell early on so hard to know what he beat really ..

The fact Nicky even has the confidence to run him over 2 miles speaks volumes. I'm sure he's a 3 miler in the making.

wasnt THAT impressed with that run, constantly jumping left all the way round as mentioned, his main rival fell, he beat nothing!!

still might be a machine but he may as well just jumped around on his, his rivals were totally outclassed!

You have got to remember it was only his 2nd ever start on a racecourse. He was entitled to be a touch novicey at them. Beat nothing but what else was he meant to do.

Geraghty and Henderson both said last years he is very quick and stays, so is definitely a touch of class. Left handed jumping maybe make him even more suited to Cheltenham? He's one of my RSA horses

the horse did leave a deep impression, it is just shame the second fav fell early on. That said, with the way he kept jumping out to his left he must have conceded at least 15 lengths all told, so it was a fair effort from the 'oss!

Runs tomorrow at Ascot in a decent looking Grade 2. Fascinating to see how marked his jumping out to the left will be, if at all .. horse has a serious engine but I personally cant back him tomorrow, even at 3/1, until I have seen him jump in a straight line!!

Anyone else..

Red hot race. wonder if Frascati Park will lead like he did last time? Kumbeshwar my fancy for this, getting lots of weight and has smart form (second to Zarkandar and in Fred Winter off topweight ) Won easy on chase debut. Hot, hot hot race though..

Good race judorick and Kumbeshwar must have every chance. I'll be watching the racing rather than playing though Hazy Tom has very strong credentials for the staying novice hurdle. If he was with NH or PN, he would be a very short price.

His jumping was much improved in terms of jumping out to his left, he only did it on a couple of occasions this time! All in all a poor performance.

Zaynar loved that soft going today imo

Very good training feat by Nick Williams to bring Zaynar back. I've followed Reve De Sivola over a cliff but deserted him in favour of The Minack tomorrow. It wil be just my luck.........

Very disappointing run I'm not sure why he faded so badly. He was going well & jumping better until the fence he bumped into Zaynar. I thought he was getting outpaced but he almost came to a standstill in the straight. Odd run really but apparently fell to pieces after his first run last season. Maybe a fragile horse? I think he's better than that but time will tell.

Left handed track over further? maybe different style of track. Cheltenham could suit? Jewson maybe? clutching at straws :( just hope he's much better than today!

Reckon it might have winded him when he jumped sideways into the other horse. Too bad to be true. Was convinced Chablais a top notch staying chaser, even with his left-hand kink.

I know I thought he would have at least ran on when beat because I thought he would be a really nice 3 miler. Literally came down to walking over the line.

I have a feeling people have taken in his price and the the trainers comments.

I was one of those, i am not now.

He didn't finish like a horse who was just getting beat. He went from travelling well enough to a startling halt. Sad really as he was very talented.
