I very rarely tip horses to my mates but I gave Noble Alan to two of them. Was really starting to get excited just as he unseated

This horse is a real character and there's a possiblity he is doing things to deliberately get the jockey off
his back when he's had enough. At market Rasen he jumped the fence well then half jinked and stumbled and the jockey came off, whereafter he bypassed the last fence and won riderless. At cheltenham again he jumped the fence really well but this time appeared to plant himself on touch down firing the jockey out of the front end. Both races taken on their own aren't signifiacnt but combined I think they are and that he's a really smart horse who Knows what he's doing. |

He's not unlucky, he just doesn't jump well enough. A 66% completion record over fences says it all.

Perhaps it should be targeted at the World Hurdle and go for a place?

His jumping is strange, he jumps very well until he makes the fatal mistake or pitches on landing.
I'd be highly doubtful of him staying the World Hurdle trip tbh, has plenty of speed. |

I actually think he lacks speed. I see him as a 3 miler.
If Paul Nicholls had him would he be winning graded races or would it just be a handicapper? |

Confused as to how a horse who travels so well with a fast pace lacks speed? Being able to cruise at a fast pace over 2 miles / 2m4f doesn't scream stayer to me imo.

he's travelled that well before then found nothing before actually finishing.....a good old fashioned layers horse if ever there was one.

He won the Scottish Champion hurdle, he does not lack speed.
And Nicky Richards is a top trainer. |

I'd like to see him being ridden closer to the pace just to see if it might help his concentration and cut out the vital errors. He's a quick jumper and could gain lengths not being reined back throughout a race. Definitely improved this year and well handicapped, and yes, unlucky.
