Think Amlin Chase then King George and take it from there.

I think a new pilot would be first on his to do list..

I hope they'll target the Tingle Creek with him - He'll be the one to beat in that and in all the other top 2m chases around!

Thought Sizing was going for the Tingle Creek,if so then surely hes the one to beat there and anywhere else over 2m for that matter,as hes the best 2 miler around.

Having said that i still think CC should be campaigned over 2m,his mate? Ryanair i reckon

CC is destined for a step up in trip, certainly in the first half of the season, imo.

No idea about the GC tbh Bud as that is an extended 3 miles. But the King George and Amlin Chase certainly within his compass imo provided the ground is decent.

If he dont stay then yes they can do a Sizing Europe and drop back in trip. I'd be amazed if he dont stay though.

CC is quite ground dependent aswell .. really struggled on Soft behind Ghizao last season

i would not be surprised to see him tried over further,he will stay at least 2 and half imo,but further i aint so sure.
Gut feeling is he will end up in the QM,but not sure where he runs between now and then.
Interesting to see what happens with him.

A further consideration is that both he and Wishfull Thinking are in the same ownership and will presumably avoid each other. Neither looks a stayer on pedigree.

Still think going righthanded is a major consideration for this horse  and has solid form around Kempton. A serious player in the King George imo and I dont think the trip will be an inconvenience. However at this time i dont see him as a Gold Cup horse at all

I see Wishful Thinking as the Owners Ryanair horse so that leaves the two more prestigious races open for CC.

All depends on his King George run. A good performance and it should be Gold Cup, any non finish or if he's well beaten should see him line up in the QMCC.

Reckon Wishful Thinking will be aimed at the Champion Chase myself  .. tempting to have some of the 33/1 at sj's.

Think I read something earlier along the lines of they thought CC was more of a staying type and WT more of a speedier type, so that might make sense.

really?,so why did CC run in Arkle and WT in the 2m4 novice??
By:

Not sure but....Arkle can often be the breeding ground for horses that can stay further. As horses develop, you can maybe get a better idea about what suits them best. Don't know, not a trainer, and it's maybe not an exact science.

Yeh,i guess they are still learning with these young horses, and its possible they can change your mind for you.

Sometimes it is best not to stretch a horses stamina as a novice, which is why the Arkle can sometimes be favoured for staying types. It is not until they are more mature they are upped in trip. It all depends on the horse really and what is suitable for them at that point in time.

Horses who compete in the Arkle cannot simply be boxed as two milers.imo

i think they would both be ideal for the Ryanair, but no way will they both run in that race, but i have a feeling one of them will.Hoping that will be WT as i have punted accordingly, and CC goes for the QM imo.

2.3m in the Amlin round Ascot on Saturday  Should be a decent test for CC with the likes of Masterminded and Sommersby lining up. Looks a cracking race at this stage

Looks like Wishful Thinkings next race is the Tingle Creek over 2 miles Cool

They will certainly learn plenty if SE turns up.
