Long Run may have jumped well last season but surely mistakes will surface at some stage and he is very short for this after beating 2 old timers in the Gold Cup.

Depending on how they impress in their preps think could range from
5/4, 7/2 11/8, 100/30 6/4, 3/1 13/8, 5/2 The King George is a speed 3 miles rather than a staying 3 miles, ask Edredon Bleu. |

How do you know a horse doesnt stay if he's never run 3m? Because I've seen him not stay over a shorter trip. imo. |

Because I've seen him not stay over a shorter trip. imo. he didnt not stay in his first attempt in the melling chase,the reason he stoped so fast was that smashed the feck out of the 2nd last and he has gone on to prove that he gets the 2m4f fine when winning this years melling chase in a canter, Im not sure as yet if he will truely stay 3miles,buy if a horse stays 2m4f then they normally stay 3m,either way,he does not have the beating of LR in the KG,so put that out of your mind and he will win the Amlin chase in devastating fassion like he always does, |

Probably has little to do with how MM's prep goes, assuming it is a victory in a small field at odds on. How LR does in the Betfair is the key, that is shaping into an interesting event.
Personally not yet convinced about the form of LR's victories, that said, he does look a real Kempton animal. He seems to have pace to burn there, when stangely he almost seems outpaced at times around Nam |
