Hoping the ground is truly good to firm on Sat and consider the mare to be a cracking each way bet. If at her best expect her to go very close. Lack of pace a worry but that true for most of the field and several have shown their best on softer ground.

Taken 12/1 each way and hoping for a dry couple of days. Good luck.

I took 12/1 on Monday (posted elsewhere). I think she has a touch of class this horse and her 2nd to Snow Fairy in last seasons Oaks is the best form on offer, imo. She is more than a stayer, and broked the track record at G'wood this season.

After she won the Park Hill connections where even considering the Prix Dlopera so they clearly think she has some speed.

Delighted Frankie keeps the ride too, he is 2 from 3 on her. Quicker the better going.

I'm disappointed Meeznah wasn't declared for the 2 mile race. The further she went in the Park Hill, the more impressive she looked.

In the early part of the year, when Lanigan was asked why he was starting off his star filly in a mile and a half race, he answered, "that she was a staying filly, and a mile and a half was her bare minimum."

With this in mind, I find his choice of race on Saturday strange. But according to his website, he wants to take her to the States for the Breeders Cup race for fillies and mares. Another strange choice.

Midday will make mincemeat of her.
