Watering to try and ensure he gets Nathaniel and the Irish horses in the Champion I reckon - crazy to be watering at this time of year unless it is dangerous ground.
It is only tuesday. The forecast can change immeasurably between now and Saturday. Cant believe it, even Roger Charlton is aksing them not to water.
Article in RP states no further watering between now and Saturday - good news! Some light showers tomorrow then dry rest of week. Ground currently good so come Saturday should be closer to quick ground given Ascot drains fast.
