even better sint watch the race, even more painfull than reading it.
but that's the problem when big fields merge, bound to be hard luck stories..

DETTORI, should take the blame for a rank bad apprentice error, complacency seems to have set in, maybe he has enough money now, has been riding badly ALL season but never seems to want to improve.
BLUE BUNTING  early in OAKS he was about 4 lengths down and running nicely, then for no apparent reason he drops to about 8 lengths off the pace, but dosen't try to get closer until the final furlong, when the winner had flown consequently dropped his hans and gained a suspension for not riding his horse out.
Then he was terrible when knocking lumps off Rewilding to beat SO YOU THINK, where if he had kept pace with SYT he would NOT have needed to whip Rewilding so often.

hes obviously learning about the winners having flown, pinching a lead - worked ok on sat

Not so Comingupthehill, it highlights his inconsistency, plus he has been riding long enough for correct positioning to be second nature,
now he just follows the crowd and the crowd do exactly what he is now doing.

Just review his rides on BLUE BUNTING, REWILDING AT ROYAL ASCOT, LYRIC OF LIGHT LTO, DABIRSIM and difference between lto and previous, he is NOT riding Pegasus, he did the job right on Saturday, but ONE swallow does not make a summer.
To use a sporting analogy PADRAIG HARRINGTON wins about three majors and decides to change his driving action, result total loss of form, to change a winning strategy in any sport is totally stupid.
Man of Action was in a decent position at the start, but he decided to follow like a sheep the rest of the other jockeys, so much so that he has no chance of steering his way through, but he NEVER redressed the situation but instead persisted with a lost cause.

Questioning backers...

Raced in centre until merged with stands' side trio over 4f out, held up in rear, looking for run and badly hampered 2f out, switched right and denied a run until inside final furlong, pushed along and past beaten horses final 150yds, never a threat (op 10-1)

100% agree with Facts. However MOA backers should not feel they were alone in suffering. Here are my 2 for the race (at 14s & 16s):-

Horse A
Raced in centre until merged with stands' side trio over 4f out, held up in rear, looking for run and badly hampered 2f out, switched right and denied a run until inside final furlong, pushed along and past beaten horses final 150yds, never a threat (op 10-1).

Horse B
Raced in centre until merged with stands' side trio over 4f out, held up behind, continually denied and clear run from 2f out, pushed left and hampered over 1f out, still not clear run and not pushed inside final furlong, never able to challenge (tchd 9-1 in a place).

Ran a solid race in the Group 3 Darley Stakes the weekend past.

Correct. I was actually trying to emphasize that more than one seriously fancied horse got no sort of run.

On a separate note you could easily swap the RP comments about the two horses and neither gain nor lose one iota of information.  I'm not saying the RP is inaccurate but there is no substitute for watching and forming your own conclusion.

I watched Questioning having backed him and the ride he got was farcical.

I think we all watched the race. I just posted up the in-running comments just to show what a phucking non-event of a race it was.
