Plans for Danedream seem to be rather fluid. Her trainer talked about supplementing her for the Arc or Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf prior to running in the QEII Commemorative Cup against Snow Fairy and Dancing Rain in Japan. She's also in another Japanese race apparently.
Personally I'd avoid the Arc as the track features a significant downhill section. The American race is a better option because German racing is rather similar to US racing on turf - with its tight tracks and sprint finishes.

The Mordin disciples won't be happy with this thread.
Mordin like Willoughby always looking for the clever angle which more often than not ridicules them rather than enhance their inflated ego's.
Yet ironically, it is Mordin who has endlessly banged on about respecting the form of foreign horses irrespective of whether they come from a 'recognised' horse racing country or not.
yep, thats true, he was always keen on german racing. If you throw out some of the more batty theories he comes out with then he can make a lot of sense.
I'm always a fan and having studied the race carefully this year, the two I fancied were Hirono D'Amour & Danedream. Nick's comments on the latter put me off and I settled on Hirono, which on my stakes cost me a bit over £3k. It doesn't bother me as his views, supplemented by my own feelings, have served me well in the past.
Anyone who ignores everything he says for no other reason than the fact that he says it, is cutting themselves off from one of the most useful pundits in the whole game (although, I will admit that this whole Big Buck's thing has gone on for about 6 races too long!).

The fact the nick mordin has mentioned her suggests he rated her ability which given her BF sp of 43/1 very
few people did. To pinpoint an error of judgement on suitable track conditions on a horse he rated and hardly
anyone else did is a bit unfair.

He chose Galikova in the Weekender as she was as he beleived one of only 2 horses to have won a Gp 1 by 2 lengths or more in the season, the other being So You Think who he reckoned wouldn't be suited by the big field or distance. The eventual winner won 2 Group 1's by 5 and 6 lengths in the run up to the arc so how did he miss that?
Then again perhaps not reading the op.

Strange that mordin rejected what could have been his crowning moment with danedream.
He should stick to the bigger races,as lately his minor race selections,based on wild theories such as following horses running distressed previously,has yielded poor results.

he's had a mare on this one. His reasons for putting lines through horses are getting more ridiculous...
Mordin would have had to have his copy in at least 24 hours before printing, hence his missing of DANEDREAM, I laughed when I read it on the 28th september, but she was not supplemented until 29th September.
My first bet on her was 7th of September, but I was aware that I could be throwing my money away, it was such a small amount that I could stand the loss.
