I've always liked Ektihaam (and tipped him up on here as a long-range Guineas fancy some time ago), so I hope you're right about the Royal Lodge.
In the Cheveley Park Stakes Best Terms is likely to be a shorter price than she should be - the ground at York was a big factor when she won the Lowther and the form should not be taken at face value. She's a very smart filly, to be sure, but I expect that Lightening Pearl will represent better value on the day. In the Fillies' Mile I like Maybe, Fallen For You and Lyric Of Light (in that order). But we probably won't know until tomorrow morning whether Maybe will take part. |

I tip my hat to both of you been reading on here for many a year but only posted recently (taken 10yrs to get my business up & running properly).
Ektihaam a real value bet for me at 7/2 almost unopposable in my opinion & I'm on. I'm also on Best Terms @ 2/1 but far less confident price skinny but I still think the horse should win. I've only 'tipped' three horses that have run Dream Ahead,Blue Bunting & Lyric of Light. Dream Ahead was a v.good result but 50% of the winnings went astray on Blue Bunting I could cry 'in season' but didn't look good enough to me. Lyric of Light looked a very tough nut on the day & sadly I had a relatively small bet but I prefer Maybe if in it. Quick mention for Nahrain in the Sun Chariot I think the horse will give them a race & @ over 10/1 I couldn't help myself although I haven't dug too deep. Some mouth watering races & can't wait. |

Would be very surprised if Maybe ran.

really sint, why's that? if so you can lay here at 6 on here, although only for small money.
started to change my mind about the cheveley park- think that its a poor renewal. can't find many dangers. the lyons filly, lightening pearl, would have to be one of course, but I just wonder if best terms will have too much class for her. also she strikes me as the type of filly to keep on improving and the better the race the better she'll look. Now I'll back her and when she gets turned over I'll wish I had stuck to my previous opinion ![]() as for maybe, mordin seems to think that she's run slow times and will be passed by other fillies in the autumn. Now i'm not sure If I agree with him, as he's either a genius or completely wide of the mark, there seems to be no in-between. In the sun chariot I like emulous. the turn of foot she showed last time was blistering- ok she was only running down horses like misty for me that need further but even so it was impressive. again she's the type of filly that the better the race the better she'll be. Of course you have to respect the opposition though, looks a hot sun chariot, saphresas record in the race, this nahrain, but if she doesn't bounce from that leopardstown run she'll take the world of beating. |

because I think she goes to France.
I thought you had already laid Best Terms mp ? |
|
By:
i think its called backing her back again.
laid her at 3s. |

The original idea was to take Maybe to France for the Boussac, but you never know with the Coolmore outfit, they like to keep all the options open...

hopefully ektihaam can win on saturday as some sort of tribute to michael jarvis, who sadly
passed away today ![]() |

ektihaam re-routed to the dewhurst. clearly they feel he's too good for the royal lodge!
you were right sint, maybe withdrawn. looks a straight rematch between lyric of light and fallen for you. I wonder if fallen for you will handle the dip as she looks a big gangly filly. |

impressive performance from daddy long legs there, well named because it seems he has a huge great stride on him and will make a fabulous three year old. not a bad peformance from wrote, and farhaan surely needs further.
good to see aidan continuing to support the royal lodge, without his support would have been a complete non-event. |
