I liked his debut very much. he is 25/1 for the guineas OKKoral, but that will disappear if he wins today.

He is 6/1 on here to win today. This is very fair value as he did look potentially top class first time out.

yeh looked good coming from a long way back in a big field but form of the race doesnt look much. really like red duke and thought he was very unlucky last time.

I think this is a very poor renewal of the champagne stakes. don't particularly like the favourite-
don't think it was a great acomb either. So i've laid him and backed daddy long legs, even though his racecourse
debut wasn't exactly breathtaking either, just that i'm hoping aiden can bring about improvement.

Is it just me or have the 2 year olds looked very dissapointing this year? I know we probably say this every year,
but then again go back 12 months and we had frankel and dream ahead. who are the superstars this year? to be honest the two year old that's impressed me most is the one who won yesterday, efthihaad or whatever it's name is, won the same conditions race that frankel won.

Think Daddy looks a nice prospect for next year without a doubt.

Apt name as well, he looks to have quite a stride on him

Complete write off of Daddylonglegs after that.

That was a poor 2yr old race....disappointing
Report cryoftruth September 24, 2011 6:41 PM BST
i think he can be un written off after that though

Yes, he won it well , but surely the worst ever Royal Lodge.

Frankly 'Daddy Long Legs' is one of the most horrible names ever given to a racehorse, this alone tells me he cant be a champion because no horse can ever be taken seriously with such a stupid name![smiley:crazy]Still he looked impressive today.

Do you prefer Scat Daddy?Devil

I've got a feeling. Just a feeling...we might have seen the new mozart / stravinsky there. July Cup winner imo.

:o

Dont think he could handle a full blown mile vs the very best. but similary I cant see him staying much further on breeding. I'm looking at this from a Scat Daddy point of view. a drop back to 6 vs the older horses could end up being his thing.
Report cryoftruth September 25, 2011 8:43 AM BST
i suspect he will end up racing in the USA.

His breeding is all dirt, with scat Daddy and even Johannesburg being bred for dirt.

Hopw I'm wrong about this though.

I quite like his name too.

I love the name! Don't understand why you would think it's a bad name.
Report sintonian September 26, 2011 9:53 PM BST
It is a great name for a horse. But then again, so is Squeezing Blackheads. He runs next week. Laugh[smiley:crazy]
Report Masterminded September 26, 2011 10:03 PM BST
