Bit of drizzly drizzle earlier this morning but otherwise looks to be a nice day. Weather forecast a bit in and out for the week and getting a bit colder (feels a bit colder). I'll be there liver holding out for all four days. Hopefully see Bentley Boy and TM at the pre - parade. Course looks grand. For those liking good food had a (another) wonderful chinese at the Oriental Palace in Spotborough last night and truly outstanding (set lunch - time menu also that is extremely reasonable). Szechuan Chicken blew my head off a bit but it's how I like it. Backing the Bunting to outstay the Moon in the Leger (simples). Ruddles is only £1.79 at the mo in the Lonnie (round the corner). Might not be much left if I keep drinking it but is a fine pint. Good look to everybody. You could park in the Lonnie (about 800m from the Grandstand and have a couple of pints instead of paying for premium parking). Should be an outstanding week. Fair looks LARGE.
TM .. not good at nicking but I've just had a few Ruddles and found my equilibrium however didn't quite understand how to cook and baste (provably bad spelling) roasties (not 5 lb because I should have saved some to mashh) so I'm in the dog house however did wash up. Dog has eaten some sausages which is not good. Could be worse. I've had a pretty decent bet on Novac D (cant spell him but the fav) at 2/1 no less with Billies (2.06 to lay on here this morning) which I hope will cover my exes for the week. I'm going ALL in Tricky Hills in the Prtland (the one that begins with A or K which I cannot remember that didn't get a run at York ansd was entered in the Ayr Gold Cup)
