Interesting a competitive looking race with the 3 y/o's taking on the older horses and getting a useful WFA allowance.
Dux Scholar looks like being a shortish priced favourite but I wasn't totally convinced by his Newbury win .
Western Aristocrat and Tazahum ran against each other at Goodwood with WA being advantaged by being up with the pace of a slowish
early gallop, I didn't like his attiude and cann't have him in this race. Tazahum was held up at the back off a slow pace and then ran wide.
The track and distance will be ideal for him and I'd be very surprised if he didn't reverse form with WA.
Green Destiny was one of the most impressive magnet cup winners I've seen, he looked in very good shape prior to his Goodwood run
and I'd expect him to turn up in peak condition here. He doesn't like being crowded and will have plenty of room here. Could prove difficult
to beat. Green Destiny and Tazahum are the selections in that order , I don't know what price they will be but anything above 7/2
and 7/1 is probably good value.

I make it between Dux Scholar, Biondetti, and Nationalism (although his 2 month break is a slight worry). Tazahum has the widest draw and arguably the least effective jockey, and in my view has nothing in hand of his stablemate. Biondetti ran well in France and is unexposed. Not much obvious pace on.
Penitent is very interesting at 14/1. Things haven't gone well this season so far, but after a two month break (always gone well fresh in the past)and tried in a visor - a move that may well suit him - this could be an ideal race. Slowish ground and the extended mile look perfect for him too.
