So Dabhand, Saturdays race. Whos the hare going to be? Id love to see Regal Parade win it again, fond memories of 2009. Pity he;s not 10 lb lower and some of dandys horses were actually winning. I was also on Evens and Odds when he won the Stewards Cup in 2010. I notice hes now at Kevin Ryans. He couldnt win it at the ripe old age of 7 could he??? Hows he going at home. Whats the word on Prime exhibit for the Silver/ bronze cup. No doubt he will just love the cut in the ground and a mark of just 90 is very nice too. Good luck for the meeting anyway, cant believe you wont be in the winners enclosure at some point.

Prime Exhibit would be the one for me if the heavens open (which, unfortunately, doesnt look like its going to happen). As you know, 7 f horses and soft ground is a great recipe for success in this race. Will Nasri go to Ascot if he doesnt get his ground on saturday? Theres a big one in him thats for sure.
Whats been wrong at dandys? All stables go through a quiet patch but his stable as been under one big cloud. Not like him at all. To think Evens And Odds beat Redford first time up this year. 98 is a good mark if the cards and ground fall his way. Good luck! |

Thanks DABHAND, only 16 get in and NASRI is 26.
Victoire did look as if something was wrong in Stewards Cup. |

Apologise 18 max field in Challenge, not 16 as I posted, RP
printed 16 on one occasion and 18 recently. |

Ive gone in for Prime Exhibit at 20's now the rains come and more forecast overnight. Please run Nasri as the hare and watch PE's stamina kick in at the end.
COME ON THE FISH BOYS!! |

Well the heavens opened, pricewise picked it and all to no avail! I did find it strange that after Richard Fahey had gone on record saying that the middle wasnt the place to be as the ground was slowest there Lee Topliss stuck to the middle, pressumably riding to orders? No surprise to see you pull Nasri. Oh well, never mind. Luckily Spoilsports would only lay me £20 e/w so no real damage done.
Good run by Evens And Odds though as he would surely have enjoyed better ground. |

For as long as McCririck has been with C4, he has
bored people to death about the draw at AYR, I ALWAYS ignored anything he said and found a few winners, he NEVER got it right, Cattermole voiced the opinion that maybe the draw does not matter at all, after 30 years it might be sinking in. ROMAN WARRIOR, EGUALITA, ABLE ALBERT, FINAL SHOT, POLLY'S BROTHER, FUNFAIR WANE 2nd time, maybe others which I have forgotten, ABLE ALBERT was drawn 26 I think and Funfair wane drawn 8, ROMAN WARRIOR had a low draw I think. |
