Yes, a really nice performance today. A Guineas rather than Derby prospect, I'd say.

by a miler out of a mare who was by Zafonic, the mare stayed 10 furlongs and I would agree with Augustine that the guineas looks more likely than the Derby at this stage, at least on breeding. however he appeared to stay on very well so he could outstay his pedigree.
despite his being "straightforward" i thought he took just a while to really get the hang of things and looked pretty good at the end. 25/1 for a maiden winner is not great value though. |

Looking at Derby entries last week and Top Offer for the 2,000 caught my eye. Was impressive at Newbury, rich owner, and trainer comments a plus. Took the 20's, don't know if it's value but if he wins won't be that price, obviously.

liked the performance alot,for me though will he be quick enough for a gns/will he stay 12f? Might sound silly but wouldn't be suprised if 10 is his trip
