If they don't run Frankel in this it will be a shame, because he's obviously bounced out of Goodwood and the opposition (bar Await the Dawn) is substandard to say the least
|

We know he is not going to run as connections have already stated that he is 100% NOT RUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its QE2 then probably being put away for nexy year |

why not take the free money to lay @4-5 ![]() |

could they have had a change of heart since Canford retired ? The QEII looks like a walkover now..

If you believe everything connections say about a Group 1 horse straight after a race regarding targets you would be very poor by now. They are always changing their minds, history is littered with examples of u-turns. Hence why nobody is willing to lay at too big at present. There is plenty of money on offer to lay here for those so certain they will stick to their original plan. Also, what if Coolmore aren't taking the race seriously this year? Juddmonte and Coolmore are very close these days, any chance they will leave it for Frankel to have a virtual walkover?

Nope.
But HRAC may have changed his mind now that So You Think does not run .. |

Frankel is not running, end of story! there is even people backing Planteur on betfair
![]() ![]() and we all know full well that he is running in the prix jacques le marois next sunday and they are even backing carlton house who would struggle to win it if it were a 1 horse race |

This 500 is now up at 5.7.
Seems weird, no? |
|
By:
not a bean wanting to back twice over as well
|
|
By:
Might have to take it all back, been hearing rumors that they are actually seriously thinking about it now

if they are, it is probably since SYT has been confirmed for Ireland..

It's go to be tempting for the Frankel team - just looking at this monster standingg in his stable when there's a good race to be won - one sponsored by Juddmonte too. IMO there is every likelihood he'll go to York.

Seems to be a bit of cat and mouse entry-wise for this event, I'm sure Hannon team presumed Frankel would welch the Canford challenge in the Sussex hence the desperate comments close to the race from them when it was apparent they weren't afraid to take him on.
Maybe the O'Brien team had an inkling Frankel would run in the race to claim So You Think's scalp, similarly to Khalid Abdullah saying he wanted to race Canford Cliffs but they were keeping it quiet with So You Think as they thought O'Brien wouldn't want the clash as their operation is more about hype. How bad would it look for O'Brien to have had the horse beaten twice in 5 runs since training So You Think, I think he'd be keen to avoid Frankel no matter what. |

Absolutely right, Grendel... but I WILL be backing Frankel in NEXT year's Juddmonte !![;)]
