anybody read the next intended target for this lad?
i know he's jt fav for the john smiths....but is also entered in a couple of grp races....including the great voltiguer.
was very unlucky @ ascot..not getting a run...then took a while to really pick up....so i'd really like to see him back over further.
his run @ chester has been franked massively...and he apparently hated it there.
i know fook all about breeding...so not sure what his stamina limitations would be......but if he were to win the the grt volty...he would surely become a live st leger horse.
i,ve had some small money @ 3 figs on here...and an e/w @ 50 with the bookies...
any thoughts on his possible stamina would be great tia.
his 3rd behind TB & nath.....is just begging me to smash him for summat.

I know about as much as you Trev...but I look at the sire's results and the sire of the dam. Both indicate 10f being the optimum trip imo.....
its dad was a top miler also 10f,came 3rd once in juddmonte,think it needs cut ,which may not happen.its dads mums dad was a derby winner,
on its mums side 10f both parents - could struggle to stay st leger.
the daniel wilderstein g2 10f on g/s at longchamp on arc day is its best chance(his dad won it.
keep looking for john smiths,theres one who s dad won dante 10f g/f,and juddmonte 10f g/f,its on bottom weight.it wants flat track 10 f g/f,its never run in lower than class 2 and not gone up the hcp more than 9lb since it was 2 yr old.

took the 6s in the week...may get done by the fav...but will hopefully see out the trip well and take his chance in the leger.
travelled great, found nothing. Flattered by his Chester run ?
i dont know sint tbh....seemed to just fall in a whole...if it was just the chester run maybe...but he picked up ok behind pisco sour and he's franked that ascot form....might just be dog
yeah there was probably a reason for it. Best to give the khunnt the benefit of the doubt,imo.

Off his current rating, and assuming he is 100% OK, I'd be aiming him at some of the nice 10f handicaps towards the end of the season, maybe even the Cambridgeshire?
