Stoute rarely keeps a 5yo in training for Hcps.
Caribbean Monarch was his last 5yo winner as I recall.
Fonz is out of the win equation for Newton imo.

ITS 2 WINS LAST YEAR CAME AFTER A BREAK OF MORE THAN 40DAYS. WAS BACKED OFF THE BOARDS AT YORK(9/1 IN THE MORNING-S.P. 7/2) BUT THAT RUN CAME 12 DAYS AFTER ITS PREVIOUS RUN.
THE FONZ 5yo
Positives. Won two class 2 hcps last year
Negatives. Ran unplaced in only run at Haydock (this race last year)
- but it ran with a double negative last year (days since run and class 2 win current year as 4yo).
M Stoute rarely has 5yo hcp winner as he tends to stick to 3yo and 4yo's for hcps but won hcp with Confront (6yo) on June 11th this year.
Wouldn't rule it out today

was there 1f out wasn't hard ridden would have won anyway ....will win this season one to keep an eye on for the future
