ROYAL ASCOT winner Banimpire, 3-1 favourite with sponsors Bet365 for Saturday's Lancashire Oaks, has been ruled out of the Group 2 at Haydock.
Jim Bolger, trainer of the filly who defeated Field Of Miracles in the Ribblesdale Stakes on her most recent start, has chosen to bypass the contest.
He said on Tuesday: "Banimpire won't be travelling to Haydock. I've decided that she won't need another race before the Darley Irish Oaks [July 17] and, hopefully, that will be the case."
Banimpire has been in electric form this season, gaining many admirers for her gutsy attitude during a campaign that has yielded five wins.
The three-year-old's Ascot success was achieved only four days after she landed the Group 2 Noblesse Stakes at Cork, with her other three victories coming in the Ballysax Stakes, the Blue Wind Stakes and a Listed race at Gowran.
The Sir Henry Cecil-trained Vita Nova is likely to assume the mantle of Lancashire Oaks favouritism in the absence of Banimpire.
