Hmm. If she turns up she'll go off at around 4/7, so it's effectively 4/7 that she turns up. I think that's about right - not only could she get injured, they might decide to run her against the boys in 2012. It was all too easy this year against some allegedly half decent opposition.

she'll murder anything that turns! would go close in WH or CH, theres a not a mare to touch her.

i have a soft spot for the strawberry one. if she improves only say 2 stone, she could be good for the forecast

I too love the Strawbeer One reveLove, Jesus if they all travelled like her twood be easier on the heart, if Jacob was on today she might have won. The lad is a genius imo and the closest thing to Ruby, fantastic on Earth PlanetLove Thousand Stars going 3 miles next season according to the owners.

great minds think alike neill, im a fan of him too.i didnt actually see the strawberry one running, il have a peep now. daryl was good on that other codger alright, made him think they were out for the craic and before he had time to act the funny lad he had the race wonLaugh that would be interestin re thousand stars, surely could pick up a nice race or 2 before headin for the world hurdle. if i was them id look for a couple of g1 races in france, big bucks had gb covered and nothing great in ireland?

ya couldn't disagree with any of that reve, shes a lovely mare, never gives a moments worry that she won't be in the threeLove
Report revedesivola June 20, 2011 2:31 AM BST
yeah just saw that race there neill, you could well be right. i hope her handicap mark doesnt suffer much. theres nothin like a top class mare is there, or even a good one like tso, shes been cleanin up in novice company. things will be much harder now handicapping of course, and theres no handicaps for her at towcester arbuthnot was sayin, 125 is too high obviously! id love to own a mare like quevegaSilly

Report revedesivola June 20, 2011 2:44 AM BST
tis true. i love the sit quiet and pounce sort of jocks. i do like aidan tho, must be hard for him to keep goin thru the summer with no venetia williams runners!
Report neill d June 20, 2011 2:48 AM BST
ya hes gone a bit quieter alright, i don't catch so much summer jumps and he isn't a jock I particularly notice, but he is v well spoken of, to an extent, very little they do at this time of year matters as noone is watching. I only heard of Lawney a few weeks ago ffs, new summer jumps . If i see Geraghty or Ruby riding in beginners chases at this time I take note thoughLaugh

new summer jumps sensation[smiley:crazy]

yeah its pretty poor alright, some do well from it, peter bowen cleans up. i see nicholls has 8 or 10 horses to go to war with, i suppose its nice to have a good few winners on the board before the proper season starts. vaughan is best when the ground is good too, strange really!
Report neill d June 20, 2011 3:04 AM BST
Yeah those Nicholls horses are all good stock that are well schooled and will jump, thats a big advantage I suppose, those lads u mention are well able as well. Bowens are often overpriced, not v fashionable yard
Report revedesivola June 20, 2011 3:07 AM BST
yep. if you had a nag in trainin, who would you send it to?
Report neill d June 20, 2011 3:17 AM BST
In Ireland, phew, DeBromhead seems v progressive in his ideas, does all kinds of work with his horses to get them to jump. I've a soft spot for Noel Meade and as he's down to only 50 horses I'd support him if I couldLaugh. i presume he still has the gallops, staff, nous to do a job, not the man for Chelts winners though.

On the flat, the Stacks seem v shrewd, though they tend to start well and tail off. Prendegast is a master from what I hear, apparently the stock he gets is **** and he really makes the best of them.

urself?

i actually prefer british racing and follow it much more, big races in ireland are all that really interest me. i dont really know, id probably send an unraced nh horse to david arbuthnot. hes v good especially with bumper horses. good ones seem well backed so he knows what hes got. theres the betting sorted, big plunge and im now richLaugh the horse wins and i flog, because bumper winners sell for waaay too much. money madeLaugh i think id send a flat horse to michael bell
